Medway acquires assets of Springfix Linkages
In April 2008, Medway Power Transmission Ltd (MPT) purchased the assets of M&R 926, trading as Springfix Linkages, a UK manufacturer of high-quality rod ends, spherical bearings, ball joints, clevises and custom linkages.
All machinery, plant, stock, tooling and fixtures, gauges, designs and patents, drawings and technical know-how, together with the computer systems, customer base and outstanding orders, have now been transferred to Medway's 55,000 square-foot production and warehouse facility in Ashford, Kent, UK.
This exciting product range has now been incorporated within Medway's range of rod ends and spherical bearings. The company claims that this makes MPT Ltd the largest manufacturer of such products in the UK, with the widest range.
Medway has prepared a new catalogue covering all items, which is available online at www.medwaypt.co.uk/Rod1.htm. All Medway products are produced to the same high standards and ISO 9001:2000 certified.
