Milford launches model 216 manual impact riveter
Milford Fastening Systems, part of the Orbitform Group, is adding the Milford model 216 manual impact riveter to its range. The model 216 is well suited for pilot runs, intermittent assembly jobs, and as a back-up or rework riveter.
It is supplied with the same high-quality (engineered to suit) tooling as Orbitform's high-production automatic riveters. Optional rivet holding jaws are available to assist in accurate positioning of the fastener prior to assembly.
Weighing just 23 lbs, the model 216 packs up to two tons of rivet setting force - transmitted via the same toggle mechanism used in much larger automatic riveters. Custom arm lengths and tooling options are available.
