Mini-Fit TPA 2 power connectors and cable assemblies at Mouser
Mouser Electronics is now stocking the Mini-Fit TPA 2 power connectors and cable assemblies from Molex. Part of Molex's broad Mini-Fit family, the TPA 2 power connectors and cable assemblies provide a versatile, off-the-shelf product that delivers current ratings up to 9A. The Mini-Fit TPA 2 interconnects ensure proper mating in a variety of applications including consumer and home appliances, office equipment, automotive installations and industrial automation.
Molex's Mini-Fit TPA 2 power connectors and cable assemblies feature terminal position assistance (TPA) with a secondary locking feature, reducing assembly error and ensuring that terminals are properly seated. The power connectors rely on a positive-lock receptacle to prevent accidental disengagement of mated connector assemblies. Compatible with existing Mini-Fit Jr. headers and plugs, the Mini-Fit TPA 2 power connectors can be easily incorporated without needing to change both sides of the interface.
The Mini-Fit TPA 2 cable assemblies feature a multi-colour configuration to ensure correct connections. Designed to support development and production programmes, the cable assemblies feature UL 1061 discrete wires and offer pin-to-pin mapping from receptacle to PCB header while reducing resource requirements and engineering time. The RoHS-compliant Mini-Fit TPA 2 cable assemblies meet current automotive industry standards, enabling their use in non-sealed applications, harnesses and inside devices.
