Miniature joysticks offer full dual-axis functionality

Live Electronics is adding the new OTTO HTL4 mini joystick to its product range. Designed for use in the security, medical and industrial sectors, the HTL4 joysticks use Hall-effect technology to guarantee an operating life of 1million operations. The devices are available in a range of output configurations to satisfy different applications.

Miniature joysticks offer full dual-axis functionality

The HTL4 series combines the functionality of a full-size dual-axis joystick in a miniature package suitable for mounting in control handles, armrests and panels. Available gated or ungated and with a variety of button styles, the HTL4 offers a dual-axis function as standard, although single axis is also an option.

Housed in a compact package, the HTL4 is sealed to IP68. Its Hall-effect sensors are protected against electromagnetic and radio frequency interference up to 100V/m. Programmable sensors with built-in temperature compensation ensure consistent and repeatable operation.
