MiniTec brings ‘art of simplicity’ to MACH 2022

Among the highlights of this year’s MACH 2022 (4-8 April), will be the MiniTec stand, with live demonstrations of its iCAD Assembler station, the company’s free-of-charge CAD tool.

The stand (20.361) will also be a showcase for continuous live demonstrations of a cobot conveyor system, and a rotating table, as well as the company’s workstations, examples of products and samples.

The UK manufacturing show at the NEC, Birmingham, will be a welcome return to face-to-face meetings and a chance for visitors to see some of the wide range of the company’s profile and linear systems, conveyors, steel shafts and protection equipment.

MiniTec staff will be on hand to provide demonstrations and answer any questions about the company’s products, solutions and services.

Solutions to many production applications

“On the stand will be solutions to many production applications, these include a workbench with various accessories for individual requirements. These can be added at the order stage or during the life of the workbench,” says MiniTec. “We have a rotating workbench for an automotive application with height adjustment to suit the operator. The rotation is controlled by a foot-operated clutch and locking pin to protect the worker. All built and tested to the latest standards.”

Centrepiece is the slated conveyor and Cobot integration, showing how a cobot can be used to work alongside operators to remove tedious or complex tasks as needed. “This is a demonstration system and can be built to suit production requirements,” adds MiniTec. “We have a working demo of our free-of-charge iCAD programme, which enables users to create designs, drawings and BOMS for their projects. All the products are preloaded with macros to enable conveyors, workstations, guarding and linear systems to be created.”

Several information pods will show the many combinations of profiles, fixings and standard solutions for conveyors, linear slides and guarding. Many of these are stocked and built in the UK.
