MiniTec UK wins prestigious business awards

MiniTec UK shares its new 15,000 sq ft facility with motion control specialists LG Motion, with Gary Livingstone heading both companies. MiniTec UK operates as a manufacturing subsidiary of MiniTec GmbH & Co KG, the German manufacturer of machine framing systems and components, and LG Motion designs and manufactures its own-brand electromechanical positioning equipment as well being a distributor partner for several global producers of motion control components and systems. Between both companies the complementary product lines enable OEMs, systems integrators and research organisations to source automated machinery as completely integrated sub-systems with machine frames, positioning mechanics and motion controls designed and assembled in-house.

The Inspire10 awards are open to companies and entrepreneurs from across the region and enable firms and individuals to gain the recognition they deserve. The track record for MiniTec UK and LG Motion includes exceptional growth since they were formed only six years ago with an increase in the head count to 15 staff and a significant investment in machine tools and production equipment. The two companies have also worked closely with local educational support initiatives at Basingstoke College of Technology and have recently started their own apprenticeship programme.
