As the first distributed I/O system to comply with IEC 62443-4-2 cybersecurity regulations, the Modicon Edge I/O NTS provides protection for critical infrastructure. With integrated Trusted Partner Module (TPM) chipset and OPC-UA TSM backplane communications, its security features allow secure role-based control and supports encrypted communication to isolate threats and contain breaches.
The modular and compact design of the Modicon Edge I/O NTS allows end users to add or adapt I/O islands without reconfiguring entire systems.
