Parker Pneumatics is launching an innovative portable air preparation system as part of its successful Moduflex range, providing effective filtration and regulation of compressed air whenever and wherever it is required. The Moduflex Airframe can be installed quickly and simply at the point of use, requiring only an air supply to optimise the performance and service life of a diverse range of pneumatic tools and applications, improving productivity and reducing operating costs as a result.
The Moduflex Airframe offers a cost effective, simple to use method of removing harmful water and particulate contamination for air tools, paint spraying, construction sites, body shops and garages, protecting equipment and minimising costly downtime. By providing a constant supply of quality regulated compressed air at working pressures of up to 17bar and temperatures of between -20 and +80degC, the system is extremely flexible.
Designed with portability in mind, the Airframe typically weighs just 4kg and features a user-friendly carrying handle. Likewise, the modular nature of the Moduflex system enables a filtration system to be selected that meets the requirements of the specific application; the frame can be set up with a combination of filters, regulators and valves to ensure that contaminants are effectively removed and air pressure levels regulated. A specially designed lockable tamperproof kit can also be added where necessary.
As with the entire Moduflex range, the system is extremely robust for long, low-maintenance life, with easy-to-service filter cartridges and durable rolling diaphragms. Each individual unit features a one-piece body design, with large sight slots for ease of operation and no need for a separate bowl; manual, semi-auto and automatic drain options are available. The Airframe is body ported as standard with a choice of BSPP, BSPT and NPT threads.
