Modular hybrid motor starters with integrated safety
With CONTACTRON pro, Phoenix Contact is introducing a new version of its CONTACTRON hybrid motor starters with additional simple safety integration and modular extension options.
The upstream safety relay guarantees a secure stop of the connected motors after an emergency stop up to performance level PLe. Using the DIN rail connector, users can implement an emergency stop group shutdown of all the downstream hybrid motor starters, without the need for additional wiring. In addition, all modules can be supplied from the system power supply. The optional response module allows for monitoring of the motor status from the control room.
Thanks to the combination of wear-free semiconductor technology and robust relay technology, the hybrid technology ensures high system availability.
