Moog reduces cost of training courses at NFPC

Moog Industrial Group, in Tewkesbury, UK, is currently offering a 15 per cent discount on its courses being held at the National Fluid Power Centre (NFPC). Steve Darnell, General Manager, says: "These days, the last thing you need is a machine down. It can have a serious impact on your costs, your customers and your business reputation. Greater in-house expertise can increase the productivity and efficiency of your equipment and can speed up the diagnosis of any problems which arise.

"Moog and the National Fluid Power Centre (NFPC) have formed a professional training partnership to provide practical training to help staff maximise the uptime of machinery, and save you money. They have proved very popular - our July course is already sold out".

Moog offers two courses, both of which are delivered at the NFPC Training Centre in Worksop.

Effective Maintenance of Hydraulic Servo Systems

This two-day course will be held on 22 and 23 September 2009 and it focuses on the importance of system cleanliness. It is aimed at people who maintain and manage fluid power systems involving servo control, as well as anyone considering introducing a system to their business. Darnell comments: "Everyone attending the course as a requirement of their job said the course met their expectations, with 25 per cent of attendees rating the course as good with a further 75 per cent rating it as excellent." The revised price is now 616 plus VAT, which represents a saving of 109.

Installing and Commissioning Servovalves and Servo-Proportional Valves

This two-day course will be held on 20 and 21 October 2009 and is aimed at engineers who already have some experience in commissioning hydraulic equipment, but who now need to improve their skills in order to work effectively, efficiently and safely with open-loop and closed-loop electro-hydraulic systems. Mark Williams of CRF said: "The course was excellent, well prepared, and run in a very professional manner at the college. I was able to pick up some useful information, and enjoyed the experience." The revised price is now 815 plus VAT, which is a saving of 184.

Darnell concludes: "With a 15 per cent budget-saving discount on each course, delivered by The NFPC and backed by Moog, engineers will be armed with the skills to keep machinery in production during these challenging times.
