Mouser named top e-catalogue distributor by Sicap

Mouser Electronics has been named as the No. 1 Electronic Catalogue Distributor by French CEM Sicap Electronique. The award, designed to determine the most efficient suppliers and to improve the quality of the supply chain, cites Mouser's dedication to on-time delivery, order quality, and customer service.

Graham Munson, Director, EMEA Customer Service at Mouser comments: "Sicap Electronique is well-positioned to measure the performance of its supply chain, so we are honoured to be named as the top electronics catalogue distributor. Sicap is one of Europe's most integrated CEMs, offering full service from conception and design, through to manufacturing and end-product certification, with a supplier base of 230 companies and an annual purchasing spend of 5.5 million euros covering more than 15,000 items."

Mederic Allais, Purchasing Manager at Sicap, adds: "The sourcing of parts has a direct impact on product cost, so it is vital that we measure every aspect of every supplier. We undertake regular performance audits and undertake risk analysis on capabilities, with every criterion scored. We are delighted that Mouser has performed so well in our most recent analysis and congratulate them for the service they bring to our company."
