Mouser names Daphne Tien VP of Asia Marketing

Tien has more than 20 years of successful experience in business development and strategic marketing within the electronics industry. She began her career in Yageo Corporation, a global provider of passive components, where she was quickly promoted to Country Manager to run the sales and operations in their Hong Kong branch. In just 1 year, she turned losses into profits and increased revenue by 10 times the next year. As Tien attained roles with increasing responsibilities, she developed Yageo's business around the world, ultimately serving as the company's Global Head of Distribution.

In 5 years, Mouser APAC's revenue and customer base have tripled, receiving more than 30 significant recognition awards from leading publications and key manufacturers in APAC.

Tien has devoted herself to promoting the value of authorised distribution in China, which has become an important driving force for the industry transformation from manufacturing to design wins in China within the CEDA organisation. Her exemplary performance led to her 2013 award nomination of "Pioneer of the Industry in China."
