Mouser Electronics is adding a new product from Analog Devices Inc. to its expanding portfolio. The ADcmXL 1021-1 Vibration Sensor Module is designed for use in industrial and transportation condition-based monitoring systems, and is a single axis MEMS-based vibration sensor that detects early indications of mechanical wear that might lead to machine failure. The module incorporates a wide-bandwidth, low-noise MEMS accelerometer together with an analogue-to-digital converter and signal processing chain.
