Mouser-sponsored Formula E team finishes season on podium

Mouser Electronics congratulates the Dragon Racing Formula E Team on their strong finish to the exciting all-electric car Formula E racing season at the London ePrix. At the final race of the 2015-2016 season, Dragon's Jerome D'Ambrosio was promoted to third place and his teammate Loic Duval into fourth, after three teams were hit with time penalties for exceeding the permitted energy limit. The Mouser-sponsored Dragon Team finishes the season in convincing style, missing out on a third-place team standing by just a single point.

Todd McAtee, Vice President, Americas Business Development for Mouser Electronics says: "This podium finish is an incredible way to end a fantastic season. Mouser congratulates everyone connected with the team as well as our valued supplier partners Panasonic and Molex. It's been really exciting to sponsor Dragon Racing, and we hope they can build on this success next year."

Mouser is a sponsor of the 2015-2016 Dragon Racing team in collaboration with valued supplier partners Molex and Panasonic. This is the second year that Mouser Electronics is sponsoring Formula E racing, a global racing series from Fédération Internationale de l'Automobile (FIA), the governing body for world motor sports. The sport features cars powered exclusively by electric power and represents a vision for the future of the motor sports industry over the coming decades, serving as a framework for research and development around the electric vehicle, accelerating general interest in these cars and promoting sustainability.

Fred Bell, Vice President, Global Distribution, Molex says: "We at Molex extend our congratulations to the entire Dragon Racing team for both a great finish and an exciting season. Effective partnership and teamwork are attributes we strive for at Molex; we are proud to sponsor the team with Mouser and Panasonic."

Jeff Howell, President of Newark, NJ-based Panasonic Industrial Devices Sales Company of America, comments: "This weekend's racing has been fast and highly competitive, demonstrating clearly that electric vehicles are not only high performance but also energy efficient. We are proud to partner with Mouser and Molex to sponsor the Dragon team, and congratulate them on a successful season."
