Mouser to distribute products by Advantech
Mouser Electronics has entered into a distribution agreement for Europe and the Americas with Advantech, an innovator in the development and manufacture of high-quality, high-performance embedded and automation products. The Advantech product line is backed by comprehensive system integration, hardware, software, customer-centric design services, and global logistics support. Mouser is stocking a wide selection of Advantech products, including a line of 3.5 inch MI/O Compact Single Board Computers (SBCs). The Advantech MIO-5251 SBC is powered by the Intel Celeron J1900 & Atom E3825, and the MIO-5271 SBC is powered by Intel's 4th Generation Core U-Series. These modules feature a variety of popular I/O formats including Gigabit Ethernet, HDMI, USB 3.0, audio in and out, SATA and mSATA interfaces, and 5V GPIO. Operating system support includes Linux, VxWorks, and Windows Embedded. Both boards are compatible with many of Advantech's MI/O Extension Modules which offer expansion flexibility in a cost-effective system.
Mouser is also stocking Advantech's newest ADAM-6200 series of Intelligent Ethernet I/O Modules. The series includes the ADAM-6217, a very cost-effective option for acquiring analogue data from any process. Targeting industrial applications and the Internet of Things, this module has eight differential analogue inputs with 16-bit resolution. Two RJ45 Ethernet ports support daisy chaining with other Ethernet I/O modules. Auto-bypass protection insures that in the event of a single module outage the other modules in the daisy chain are still operational. It can be monitored and controlled from a PC or most smartphones.
