Multi-touch-operated, IP 65-compliant industrial panel PCs
Phoenix Contacts' new panel PCx of DL 1000 series combine high-performance technology and attractive design. They feature full IP65 protection, offer high-resolution LED technology, support complex user interfaces, multi-touch capacity and are always close to the action as they can be installed quickly and easily, directly on the machine. Thanks to their fan-less and energy-efficient design, they are suitable for future operating concepts in industrial systems: easy maintenance, custom configuration and robust performance.
Users can decide between single- or multi-touch displays to suit the application at hand. This also accommodates future machine operating modes such as gesture control. The slim 60mm Panel PCs are protected by a robust die-cast aluminium housing and resist dust and water according to protection class IP 65. Further, these devices can be used in extreme temperatures ranging from -20degC up to +55degC, which also makes them suitable for refrigeration systems.
The Industrial PCs are highly energy efficient thanks to the built-in Intel Atom E series, a combination of a highly integrated chipset and a power-saving processor. This processor series' low power consumption is also reflected in the low heat it generates, which means that the units do not require built-in ventilation. An integrated VESA 100 bracket and a rear panel service hatch provide quick installation and servicing. Users get an energy-efficient industrial PC equipped with a heavy-duty touch screen that can be used as an operating console for machine-related use in rough industrial environments. There is also a choice of HDD or SDD and Windows Embedded Standard 7 or Windows 7 Pro to store your necessary data and run chosen applications.
