Murata ZPA Series capacitive MEMS pressure sensor at Mouser
Mouser Electronics is now shipping the ZPA Series MEMS pressure sensor from Murata. This small (2.3 × 2.6mm) micro-electro-mechanical systems (MEMS) sensor provides highly accurate pressure readings from 300 to 1100hPa, down to 0.016Pa resolution.
Murata's ZPA Series MEMS pressure sensor is designed by capacitive sensing technology, which allows the sensor's +/-1.0hPa absolute accuracy across a wide temperature range (-10degC to +65degC; P=800 to 1100hPa). This capacitive sensing technology enables a low typical noise level of 1.1PaRMS and current consumption of just 6.3uA at 0.16-second conversion time.
The ZPA Series MEMS pressure sensor features SPI and I2C communication interfaces, and is designed for applications that demand high accuracy and low current consumption, including medical equipment, elevator equipment, indoor navigation, and weather monitoring.
