Murex Tradestig portable welding units are versatile for Tig
With Murex Tradestig portable welding units, welding craftsman can perform a wide range of AC/DC TIG welding operations for general light fabrication, repair and maintenance, and for applications in the process industry.
Tradestig AC 220 and AC 220a machines are compact and impact-resistant, with a polymer and aluminium casing. They are light and easy to carry and, as they are protected to IP23, they can be used both indoors and outdoors.
A key feature is the Power Factor Correction (PFC), which makes it possible to use the full range of the machine on a 16A fuse. The PFC also protects the machine against fluctuating mains voltage and makes it safer to use with a generator.
In both AC and DC modes these TIG welding machines will give an excellent arc strike and a consistent, stable arc. All types of weldable material and thickness up to 5mm can be welded with high quality. Two easy-to-use control panels are available with the necessary functions for TIG DC, AC/DC and MMA welding.
