SmartCore Technology

The new cordsets from Murrelektronik are part of a research project* that developed early detection of a cable that is about to break. This predictive diagnostic function is called SmartCore technology and makes cordsets intelligent. Integrated diagnostics predict when the cordset has reached ca. 80 per cent of its lifetime. This feature allows maintenance to change out a cordset before its lifetime expires and it causes expensive downtime.

Predictive Maintenance

In the Emparro product family, the 3-phase, 40A power supply is able to inform maintenance of the right time to change out the device. Predictive maintenance enables service to be planned optimally for the system therefore reducing downtime, and any associated costs. This isn't the only benefit the Emparro family has to offer - with buffer modules, filters and IP67 power supplies for decentralised installations, the product range is suitable for building a first-class power system.
