If you manufacture or supply low-noise and low-vibration equipment for Europe you may be interested in a free event being organised by the HSE: Low noise and vibration equipment for European markets. This takes place on Tuesday 2 March 2010 at the Ricoh Arena, Coventry.
The aim of the event is to provide a forum where UK industry can consider the new opportunities for developing low-noise and low-vibration equipment in line with the requirements of the new Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC. Note that the event will also be useful for manufacturers and suppliers of sub-assemblies, as well as people who provide advice or guidance on design for low noise and vibration.
- Enable delegates to understand their legal duties
- Stimulate debate on how best to fulfil those legal duties
- Clarify the expectations of the HSE in supporting the supply and purchase of low-noise and low-vibration equipment
- Help designers and manufacturers realise a market advantage through the development of low-noise and low-vibration machinery
