HepcoMotion apprentice Robert Hardie has been shortlisted by the judging panel to be nominated for the regional “Outstanding Achievement by a first year apprentice” award. Robert has been invited to attend an interview on 18th November 2014 at EEF in Bristol and at this final stage of regional judging all nominees are expected to bring with them evidence of their training and education, in the form of logbooks, college reports and a piece of their own work.

The judges will be split into two panels and will be looking at both educational and technical experience, involvement in projects or significant contributions the apprentices have made to employer projects. Nominees will be expected to answer questions concerning the evidence they present, and will be required to clarify points they have made in their nomination form. The overall winners in all the categories will be announced at the South West awards ceremony on 30th January 2015 at At-Bristol, Bristol starting at 12:00 noon till 3pm.

Six regional winners within each apprentice category will gain automatic entry into the National Awards. Apprentices will then need to be available for the final round of judging scheduled to be held on 15th April 2015 in London.
