The NAG Toolbox for MATLAB - the most recent release of which is Mark 22 - makes the full functionality of the NAG Library available through MATLAB, the high-level language and interactive environment for performing computationally intensive tasks. An advantage of calling NAG via MATLAB is that many routine arguments become optional or unnecessary, which makes code easier to read and maintain.
All of the NAG Library documentation has been converted to MATLAB help format, so access is readily available via MATLAB's usual documentation facilities. Included in the documentation for each NAG Library routine is example MATLAB code showing how to use the routine.
To show how easy it is to use the NAG Toolbox for MATLAB, NAG has published a white paper on its website that demonstrates how to call NAG routines and use MATLAB's plotting facilities to view the results.
