Finder 77 Series hockey puck SSR relays are available in three main types: single phase, with rated current from 25 A to 125 A, voltage up to 660 V AC - models with flip-up terminal covers; dual phase configuration, with rated current from 25 A to 75 A, two independent channels (random switching); and three phase configuration, with rated current from 25 to 80 A, random switching, optimised for fast motor control. Depending on the model, you can choose between Zero-crossing or Random mode.
A range of accessories for maximum heat dissipation
The latest addition to the Finder catalogue is the introduction of accessories, designed to maximize relay efficiency and prevent overheating, ensuring that performance remains constant even in harsh environmental conditions.
1. Heat sinks and forced ventilation: The use of a suitable heat sink is important for the longevity of an SSR. Depending on the model, heat sinks can be installed on a rail or directly on the electrical enclosure. For more demanding applications, heat sinks with integrated fans are now available: Type 077.03.9.024 with 24 V DC power supply; and Type 077.03.8.230 with 230 V AC power supply.
2. Thermal pads: To ensure maximum heat transfer from the relay to the heat sink (or to the panel), Finder recommends using the new thermal pads during installation: 077.T1 / 077.T2 for single phase and two phase models (the T2 version is adhesive to facilitate positioning); and 077.T3 for the larger three phase SSRs
