The PROFIBUS International (PI) Group has announced that its in person seminars covering PROFIBUS, PROFINET and IO-Link are to go ahead later this year
The PROFIBUS Group has remained keen to deliver its face-to-face Seminar programme this year, and has now confirmed key dates and venues for them. There will be a series of three events covering PROFIBUS, PROFINET and IO-Link, the first taking place at 0900 on 17th November at the acclaimed National Motorcycle Museum in Birmingham. The session finishes at 1630 and MachineBuilding.net readers may register to attend here.
The Organisers say that the seminars are also being planned to take place in Ballyclare near Belfast and in Scotland, again during November this year. Details on the Belfast event may be found here and those covering the Scottish seminar may be found here.
PROFIBUS confirms that the seminars will cover key application areas such as control systems and energy management, pulp and paper, chemical, utilities, pharmaceutical, mechanical handling and logistics, robotics, automotive engineering, electrical and electronics assembly and packaging and printing.
Each event will focus on the practical aspects of using PROFINET, PROFIBUS and IO-Link, from system design and safety and security considerations through to fault-finding and maintenance. Each event offers a substantial programme and full details can be found here.
