New energy-efficient walk-in temperature and humidity chambers

Energy savings of up to 50 per cent are achieved through a new innovative refrigeration control system, an active map system and other original control devices. In addition, advanced manufacturing processes have resulted in improved sealing of the chambers.

As well as improved networking and controls, the E-series chambers benefit from enhanced security - such as password authentication when accessing an attached USB flash drive.

A new high-precision cooling system comprises an electronic expansion valve and a DC inverter that can vary refrigeration capacity. Included are innovative controls such as an active map system to manage the operation of multiple refrigerators with minimum power consumption. An integral control panel with a 10.4inch colour touch screen provides high-speed processing with ease of operation and legibility.

ESPEC E-series chambers are constructed from high-quality steel and feature a stainless steel interior. Depending on the model, the temperature range is -60, -40 and -20 to +80degC (150degC available on request) and the humidity range is 10/95 per cent RH. A heated viewing port is included.

These new temperature and humidity chambers complement Unitemp's extensive range of test and monitoring chambers/ovens, and the company has the expertise to customise units to suit particular application requirements.
