New ESAB Origo and Aristo welding machines and wire feeders
ESAB now offers a range of mostly wheeled power sources with standalone wire feeders. All models in this range offer MIG/MAG processes and they are also all designed for welding mild steel, stainless steel and aluminium.
The Origo Mig L305/L405 machines (with Origo Feed L302/L304) have maximum outputs of 300A at a 25 per cent duty cycle and 400A at a 50 per cent duty cycle, respectively. The smaller machine offers 10 voltage steps, while the larger can achieve 40.
Slightly larger, the Origo Mig 410/510 machines (with Origo Feed 304/484 M12) offer maximum outputs of 400A at a 50 per cent duty cycle (for the 410) and 500A at a 60 per cent duty cycle, respectively, with 40 voltage steps. Also featuring 40 voltage steps is the Origo Mig 320 (with Origo Feed 302 M11/304 M12), which has a maximum output of 320A at a 30 per cent duty cycle.
The Origo Mig 402c/502c/652c machines (with Origo Feed 304/484 M13 and Origo YardFeed 200 M13y) have maximum outputs of 400, 500 and 650A, all at a 60 per cent duty cycle. These are stepless voltage units and, in addition to the standard MIG/MAG processes, they offer MMA and the two larger models feature Carbon Arc Gouging as well. Tig can be specified as an accessory.
ESAB's Origo Mig 4002c/5002c/6502c machines (with Origo Feed 3004/4804 MA23/24 and Origo YardFeed 2000 MA23) have maximum outputs of 400, 500 and 650A, all at a 60 per cent duty cycle. They use a stepless voltage system and, in addition to the MIG/MAG processes, they also have MMA. Special functions are QSet and Synergic MIG/MAG (panel MA24).
The last of the models in this Origo series are the Origo Mig 3001/4001i machines (Origo Feed 3004/4804 MA23/24 or Origo YardFeed 2000 MA23). Maximum outputs are 300A and 400A at a 35 per cent duty cycle. These are stepless voltage machines and have MMA processes in addition to MIG/MAG. Special functions are QSet and Synergic MIG/MAG (panel MA24).
Aristo power sources
Aristo is ESAB's top-of-the-range system. The Aristo Mig 4002c/5002c/6502c machines (Aristo Feed 3004/4804 U6/U82 and Aristo YardFeed 2000 MA6) have maximum outputs of 400A, 500A and 650A at a 60 per cent duty cycle. They are stepless, offering MMA, pulse MIG and carbon arc gouging. Special functions are QSet, Synergic MIG/MAG (panel MU6) and SuperPulse (Aristo U82) as an addition to MIG/MAG.
The Aristo Mig 3001i/4001i machines (Aristo Feed 3004/4804 U6/(U82) and Aristo YardFeed 2000 MA6) have maximum outputs of 300 and 400A at a 35 per cent duty cycle. These are stepless voltage units offering MMA and pulse MIG in addition to the standard MIG/MAG. Special functions offered are QSet, Synergic MIG/MAG, pulse MIG (panel U6) and SuperPulse (Aristo U82).
Finally the Aristo Mig 4000i/U5000i machines (Aristo Feed 3004/4804 U6/(U82)) have maximum outputs of 400A at a 35 per cent duty cycle and 500A at a 60 per cent duty cycle. These are stepless voltage units offering MMA, Tig, pulse MIG, pulse Tig and carbon arc gouging in addition to MIG/MAG. Special functions offered are QSet, Synergic MIG/MAG, pulse MIG (panel U6) and SuperPulse (Aristo U82).
