New Flowbits catalogue includes control products

Roxspur Measurement & Control (RM&C) is publishing the latest Flowbits catalogue of instrumentation and control products for engineers, technicians and researchers seeking economically priced measurement sensors.

Expanded to cover all aspects of measurement, whether flow, pressure or temperature, plus controls, including pumps and valves, electronic systems like alarms, transmitters and interfaces, the new, free Flowbits catalogue for 2007/08 offers a wider range of instrumentation and control products - not just 'Flowmeters'.

RM&C is a leading UK manufacturer of variable area flowmeters, with the Platon brand glass and metal tube flowmeters for liquids or gases. The Flowbits catalogue presents these Platon ranges in detail, with accessories such as spare tubes, fine control valves and electronic alarms. Platon visual flow measurement systems are claimed to be the most accurate and economic basic measurement products available for fluid flow measurements in laboratories, pilot plants, cooling and blending systems or industrial machinery.

These and other complementary flow measurement technologies are presented in over 50 pages of the Flowbits catalogue, making this an essential source of data on available flow measurement techniques - such as economically priced ultrasonic and electromagnetic flowmeters.

Miniature pressure transmitters

Sensit is the brand name for Roxspur UK's ceramic strain gauge pressure sensors, and the new 2007 Flowbits catalogue takes the opportunity to present the full range of miniature transmitters for OEMs and for industrial and hydraulic applications.

Also new for 2007 are the pressure transmitters from Process Measurement and Controls, designed primarily for the pulp and paper industry, and Flowbits 2007 also introduces new ranges of electronic pressure switches for alarm monitoring on hydraulic, pneumatic or lubrication systems.

As ever, Flowbits offers many standard ranges of stocked pressure gauges and Magnehelic differential pressure gauges, with associated regulators and electronic monitoring systems.

Brearley temperature measurement products have been manufactured in Sheffield by RM&C for over 100 years, using thermocouples covering temperatures up to 3000degC. New from Brearley for Flowbits 2007 are low-cost infrared cameras, bringing 'point and click' measurement to industrial applications, plus thermal imaging cameras for engineering investigations. The Brearley laboratories are claimed to be unrivalled in their calibration capabilities, whether at the UKAS-accredited laboratory, or with mobile service engineers, able to provide UKAS-traceable calibrations in a customer's plant.

Instrumentation and control

The Flowbits catalogue retains the wide range of standard industrial instrumentation and control products that have made the publication an essential reference guide to high-quality, economical products for measurement and control problems for the last 50 years, with most products available ex-stock or on short delivery times.

For your immediate FREE delivery of the latest Flowbits catalogue, and a current price list, please call either of the RM&C sales offices, or click on the email request box on the RM&C website front page.
