New function blocks for STEP 7 and the TIA portal
The combination of modern wireless technology and the New function blocks make it very easy to integrate I/O signals from distributed sensors over large distances directly into a Phoenix Contact or Siemens PLC. Function blocks are used to integrate new functions or to transform devices into an integral part of the control system. This reduces development times.
Phoenix Contact's Inline ILC range of controllers and Axioline AXC range of controllers are supported via PC Worx and PC Worx Express PLC programming software. The Siemens S7-300 Series the S7-1200 Series and S7-1500 Series are supported via the TIA portal and Step 7 software, respectively.
