New gear products to be exhibited at Drives & Controls show
At this year's Drives & Controls event there will be a strong emphasis on gears at the R. A. Rodriguez stand (EP150). Not only will the company promote the quality and extent of its established and growing KHK range of stock and custom gears, it will also introduce a range new to the UK for even greater custom capability.
Since its appointment as the sole distributor for the German manufacturer Framo Morat, R.A. Rodriguez has concentrated on the Framo range of drive systems. These include compact slip-on geared motors, linear actuators and push-pull linear chains, all of which are based on modular design principles and are customised to suit each application.
Worm gears
At the Drives & Controls show R. A. Rodriguez is turning its attention to the core competence of Framo Morat, the production of gears and, in particular, worm gears - for which the company is ranked among the leading suppliers in Europe.
Through comprehensive manufacturing capabilities at KHK and Framo Morat, RA Rodriguez is also able to meet most custom requirements. The production of special spur gears, worm gear sets and drive technology is a Framo Morat strength.
Racks and pinions
Also new is a European manufactured range of KHK branded high-precision racks and pinions. Available with straight or helical teeth, these new KHK products are available in a choice of sizes and qualities to suit a variety of rotary-to-linear and linear-to-rotary motion requirements.
Growing demand for gear products from R. A. Rodriguez has led the company to appoint a dedicated Gear Product Manager. Darren Reynolds is moving into this newly created role from his previous position in general sales. Naturally he will be at Drives & Controls to introduce visitors to the extensive range for which he now responsible.
