New high-performance QSFP+ and SFP+ cable assemblies
Harting is introducing a new range of high-performance QSFP+ and SFP+ cable assemblies that support data-transmission speeds of up to 40Gbit/s.
In addition to standard cable assemblies with cable sizes from AWG 24 to AWG 30, Harting offers customised assemblies including units with EEPROM programming.
Secure strain relief is realised through overmoulding of the PCB, providing robust assemblies for use in IP20 environments such as cabinets and control rooms. Another key feature of these products is the QSFP+ back shell, which is claimed to be one of the shortest on the market, making the cable assembly suitable for applications where space is limited.
No additional assembly is required, which saves time and money compared to the use of individual components and their associated tooling.
All of these cable assemblies meet the requirements of relevant international standards.
