New housings for Han HPR industrial connectors
Harting is adding extended angled bulkhead and surface-mounting housings of size 3 A to the proven Han HPR industrial connector family. These new housings make it possible to mount a Han-Brid Quintax contact insert in an angled Han 3 HPR bulkhead or surface-mounting housing, as well as making more wiring space available for improved assembly of the various contact inserts.
The Han HPR series of heavy-duty industrial connectors is suitable for providing the electrical interface in areas such as transport, applications with harsh climatic or moisture-resistant requirements, and sensitive interfaces that have to be protected or shielded.
For mounting the new housings, two versions are available: one with through holes and one with blind tapped holes in the mounting flange. The version with the tapped holes eliminates the need for separate sealing of the fixing screws.
The housings incorporate M25 cable entries, which enables cables with larger outer diameters to be used. Otherwise they correspond with the specifications for Harting's other angled Han 3 HPR bulkhead and surface-mount housings, and are 100 per cent plug-compatible with the Han 3 HPR hoods with screw locking.
