SEW Eurodrive has opened a new sales and service centre in Cumbernauld, to meet growing demand for its range of maintenance and service options as well as new industrial gear units in Scotland. The location was selected for strategic reasons as it is no more than a 2-hour drive away from the majority of machine builders and users in the country. The company's sales office, previously based in Stirling, will relocate to the new site. The new 4,300 square foot service centre has the capability and expertise to service and repair any industrial gear unit regardless of its age or original manufacturer. It features a fully equipped workshop with all the latest tooling for assembly and testing and has a large stock of genuine spare parts.
The new facility, staffed by SEW Eurodrive's engineers, is able to provide a fast response for customers with urgent requirements. The company's Complete Drive Management (CDM) service is also available from the new Cumbernauld site, as is the brand new Premium Protection Package that provides an extra 12 months warranty in addition to the two years already provided on new products. There is a collection and delivery service available for all customers, with the option of utilising SEW's Pick-Up Box service. The Pick-Up Boxes are manufactured from recyclable high-density polyethylene (HDPE), and are provided free of charge for drive technology components, from any manufacturer, that need checking or repair.
According to SEW Eurodrive's Bill Baxter, the new Cumbernauld sales and service centre reflects the company's commitment to its growing number of customers in Scotland with the ability to provide a rapid response to all their requirements. Learn more at www.sew-eurodrive.co.uk.
