New industrial-grade har-port couplers for Ethernet and USB
Harting is launching the har-port couplers for Ethernet and USB that make control units and industrial computer interfaces accessible from the outside of switchboard cabinets and control terminals. Thanks to its compact and elegant design, however, the har-port coupler is also an excellent communications interface for conference tables or high-grade workstations.
The assembly calls for just one central fastening nut in a standardised circular 22mm panel cut-out, which is the size used for most industrial control switches.
Harting's har-port product range comprises service interfaces for 1/10 Gigabit Ethernet as well as USB 2.0 and 3.0 Type A. Accessories such as protection covers and sealing covers offer protection against unauthorised use, and label holders can be mounted later.
