New intelligent safety products from IDEM Safety

IDEM says that its newly launched Z-Range has been designed to achieve a high level of functional safety. Its technology features internal self-monitoring and OSSD Outputs to achieve CAT4/PLe (ISO 13849) and SIL3 (IEC 62061) even when connected in series. Each Z-Range product includes extended diagnostics, presented by the individual device LEDs and auxiliary output signals. This can drastically reduce production downtime by allowing quick identification of individual device states and wiring faults.  

IDEM confirms that its ‘Z’ technology has been augmented into many of its mechanical products, for an ‘all in one’ machine guarding solution that doesn’t compromise on safety. The Z-Range is available in:
