Booster release & multi-circuit ejectors well suited for many industrial applications
Norstat has introduced a new line of booster release & multi-circuit ejectors. With what are said to be robust, yet compact, designs, these are “very well suited for many industrial automation, material handling or robotic applications, especially those that involve rapid movements”, states the company.
The Booster Release Ejector “has the ability to generate a vacuum utilising the lowest possible amount of air consumption”, says Norstat. “Additional advantages include effortless overall installation with simple and transparent electrical installation of the solenoid valves, which have a service life of over 100 million actuations. The boosted ejector can produce a blow-off with varying flow, providing a safe and gentle release of the work piece. Ejectors are constructed of black anodised aluminium with brass nozzles and all ejectors utilise a M5 connection for easy set-up.”
Multi-Circuit Ejectors are equipped with the AVAC Monitoring Systems (AMS) which utilises one digital or one analogue sensor to monitor all active vacuum circuits. “This system creates a significantly lower cost for installation, has distinct and simultaneous blow-off in all vacuum circuits, requires fewer inputs on the controller which, in turn, reduces component and programming costs and enables predictive maintenance in case of system leakage."
Other features include "robust, compact and light weight housing, quick response, greater than 85% vacuum at 4.5 bar and controlled rapid release".
