New options for refurbishment of rotary vane pumps

The company's fully qualified technicians can refurbish all types of these pumps to a high standard. This includes Procon, Nuert and Fluid-O-Tech, brass-filtered and non-filtered, stainless steel and magnetic drive pumps up to 600 litres (PR6 series). The new facility is said to provide a genuine low-cost alternative to purchasing new pumps.

Upon receipt of a pump, Abbeychart completely cleans the insides and repairs or replaces any damaged parts, refurbishing the pump to as-new condition and fully testing it before return.

A standard price of £16.50 is offered for all standard models, with a lead-time of ten working days from receipt of the pump; additional charges are levied for replacement rotors if these are found to be unserviceable. An Express Refurbishment service is also offered, with return inside 24 hours of receipt.

The alternative option is Abbeychart repair kits, which are said to be available for all types of rotary vane pumps that it handles, enabling customers to perform the refurbishments themselves.
