New PCI Express and multi-port serial cards
Brainboxes is introducing its new range of PCI Express cards, leading with the release of eight-port cards, PX-279 (DB9) and PX-275 (DB25). These are supplied with Brainboxes' Serial Solutions software, which is already installed in many systems worldwide.
In addition, the company is releasing the next products in this growing range: the PX-420 (four-port RS232) and PX-431 (three-port RS232). Both feature multiple RS232 ports to add reliable and high-speed connectivity via any standard PCIe slot (1-, 2-, 4-, 8- or 16-lane slots). True megabaud line drivers carry information at 921,600 baud. Furthermore, 256byte FIFOs with a user-definable trigger level ensure high levels of data integrity, thereby reducing the likelihood of dropped packets.
