New premises comprising 465m2 of warehouse/workshop area and 65m2 office accommodation are ensuring enhanced services for customers of Lafert Electric Motors.
Lafert's new premises, in Crewe, have brought together under one roof both product and support services. Particularly important is the increased storage capacity with its six-tier racking which extends the company's off-the-shelf sales capability while also increasing its holding facilities for customers' motors which can be called off when required. The latter is very beneficial for customers with limited capacity but want to ensure prompt motor availability.
The integral workshop is intended to carry-out customer specific motor modifications and offer fault finding service and development support. With the sales office and support administration services in the same building, communication between the various departments and warehouse is enhanced, helping to maximise overall efficiency.
Further, with direct fibre optic broadband connection to Lafert offices across Europe, product availability and Group-wide combined technical expertise on-tap promise to ensure rapid response with appropriate product and technical backup.
