New range of range of in-line spring-retained ball joints
Illston and Robson, a manufacturer of commercial vehicle air line couplings and motion control components, is improving its range of in-house manufactured ball joints. The latest additions are a range of in-line spring-retained ball joints, which are particularly suited to commercial plant manufacture and industrial motion control applications.
Currently available in M5, M6 and M8 thread sizes, they expand the already large range of motion control components available from Illston and Robson.
Focusing on UK manufacture, Colin Reid, MD of Illston and Robson, has invested in a number of machines in the last couple of years and plans to develop the range further with the addition of larger clevis yoke parts for automotive applications - to complement the company's service to the commercial vehicle market. Colin states: "There is a definite need for a UK manufacturer of these components to provide fast and efficient local service."
The aim at Illston and Robson is to provide standard and bespoke components together as a one-stop-shop service, with tight controls on quality and flexibility of service. The benefits to customers of dealing direct with the manufacturer are that they get local service, benefit from attractive prices, and they know that they can specify from a range of materials, sizes that suit their application, and quantities that suit their requirements. The range of components available from Illston and Robson includes DIN, plastic, spring-retained and quick-release balljoints, metric spherical rod ends, clevis yokes and linkage assemblies.
