New sales manager joins publisher of MachineBuilding.net

Georgina Turner has joined The Engineering Network Ltd (TEN) as sales manager. She assumes responsibility for new business sales across a portfolio which now includes the industry leading online platforms MachineBuilding.net and FasteningandBonding.net, as well as the all-new MachineBuilding.Live event in October 2023 and the quality quarterly design engineering magazine Industrial Technology.

Georgie brings with her an abundance of industry experience that adds to the established team of editor Mark Simms, managing director Luke Webster, publisher Mark Newby and regional sales managers Steve Brotherton and David Harman. Between them the team now offers more than 160 years of hands-on experience and success in the engineering press, an especially valuable asset at a time when customer companies recognise the need to focus limited resources and maximise returns.

“We’re delighted to welcome Georgie to our team” says Luke Webster. “Colleagues of her calibre are few and far between and she brings with her a super track record, excellent contacts and a desire to do the right thing by our customers as they seek growth in challenging times.”

Commenting on her new role, Georgie observes: “TEN is a modern-day success story in the specialist engineering publishing and events sector, thanks to a combination of old-fashioned values, excellent databases and the ability to deliver exactly what both readers and customers demand. The business has grown substantially in the 2 years since it was formed and I am looking forward to being part of this vibrant team as the growth continues.”
