New size DED series rugged IP65 door enclosures from Hylec-APL
Hylec-APL is adding two new sizes to its IP65-rated DED range of rugged door enclosures, with the option of solid or transparent doors. The new units measure 400 x 175 x 500mm (w, d, and h) and 600 x 260 x 800mm (w, d, h) and their construction ensures that they deliver maintenance-free and cost-effective housings for applications that are designed to have a long working life. Liquid gasket seals ensure IP65 protection is maintained, even when the doors are repeatedly opened and closed for regular access.
DED series door enclosures are now available in a range of sizes measuring from 200 × 300 × 130mm high to 600 × 800 × 260mm. Unlike inferior products, all DE enclosures are supplied as standard with a galvanised steel back plate, external mounting brackets and a lock and key as standard. This means that there are no hidden "extra' costs and that installation should proceed smoothly and fuss-free. External wall brackets further simplify installation, yet they do not compromise the overall IP rating.
