New sole UK distributor for Servotronix range

Emolice has been appointed as the sole UK and Ireland distributor for the Servotronix GmbH range of motion controllers, servo and stepper motors and servo drives. This boosts the existing line of products offered by Emolice for industrial automation, process and control applications.

Emolice, a manufacturer and distributor of motors, control and automation products, has developed partnerships so that it can offer customers across the UK and Ireland complete packages of position and motion control. The new sole UK and Ireland distributor agreement with Servotronix adds products such as the recently launched single-axis CDHD2 and the dual-axis DDHD to Emolice's offering.

The CDHD2 is the second generation of the CDHD servo drive family and features advanced control algorithms to help build more accurate and efficient machines. The CDHD2 servo drive also includes a current loop design that achieves an industry-leading frequency response of 3-5kHz, which is excellent for machine building, manufacturing, medical, renewables, and food and beverage applications.

The DDHD dual-axis servo drive features advanced control algorithms and a comprehensive feature set for cost-effective low- and medium-voltage applications that can reduce costs by up to 20 per cent per axis compared to systems with two independent drives. Other products available to the UK market from the partnership include the stepIM stepper motor, the PRO, PRO2 and PRHD2 servo motors, the softMC motion controller range and the softMI human-machine interface (HMI) terminals.

Emily Quinn, Marketing Manager at Emolice, states: "Adding the Servotronix range to our distribution partnerships completes our motion and drives product offering. Servotronix aligns with our overall goal of providing cost-effective, high-performance products to our customers and makes the perfect addition to our existing partnerships.

"We understand the importance of being able to source complete position and motion solutions from a single supplier and, with the addition of this partnership, we can now deliver a full range of integrated PLC and HMIs, rotary and linear encoder solutions, as well as the new range of motors, drives and controls."

Aviv Halperin, Managing Director Europe at Servotronix, adds: "The UK and Ireland are important markets for Servotronix. Emolice brings a wealth of technical expertise and experience in the fields of position and motion and are ideally placed to help us expand into this key market."

Servotronix Motion Control develops and manufactures standard and customised automation products and systems with a focus on motion control. Available worldwide, but for the first time with a dedicated UK and Ireland distributor, for the past 30 years it has developed high-performance servo drive and motion control systems that are tailored to meet the form, fit, functionality and cost specifications of a wide range of industries.
