New source for Dailywell 6M miniature slide switches

The space-saving design makes the 6M suitable for a wide range of applications from handheld instrumentation to a variety of portable devices in test and measurement and consumer products.

Technical features include: flush or raised actuation; initial contact resistance of 50mohm max; mechanical life of 20,000 cycles; insulation resistance of 1000Mohm minimum; dielectric breakdown strength of 1000Vrms at sea level; and an operating temperature range of -40 to +80degC. Minimum load and breaking capacity is dependent on which of the six contact material combinations is selected. The 6M data sheet details process requirements for lead-free soldering using manual, wave and vapour-phase techniques.
