New surface-mount micro-miniature snap-acting detect switch

Along with ATCA and Advanced Mezzanine Card (AMC) applications, C&K's detect switches, including the MDS series devices, are specified for medical devices, consumer electronics, and for application where detecting the presence of a mechanical device is required.

Choice of styles

The MDS series micro-miniature snap-acting detect switch is available in vertical or right-angle PCB-mount styles. The switch features a long total travel of 2.9mm. Contact rating is 0.3A at 6V DC, with a contact resistance of 200mohm. Mechanical and electrical life has been extended to 10,000 operations.
