New website for Schaeffler UK
Schaeffler has revamped and relaunched its UK website (www.schaeffler.co.uk), offering engineers easier navigation, improved functionality and faster access to precision bearing products and related services.
The new website's Products & Solutions section contains more than 40,000 standard bearing and linear motion products. Split into three categories/divisions - Industrial, Automotive OEM and Automotive Aftermarket - the website enables users to quickly search and locate specific products by searching on bearings or part numbers, or by using Schaeffler's comprehensive online product selection and technical information software tool, Medias.
The Industrial Products & Solutions section contains needle, cylindrical, spherical and tapered rolling bearings, plain bearings and linear guidance systems and direct drive technology, as well as a range of ball bearings and housed units. A full condition monitoring and maintenance product portfolio is also available to support users' maintenance and asset management requirements.
The Industrial division offers a wide portfolio of bearing, ranging from high-speed, high-precision bearings with small diameters to large-size bearings several metres in diameter. Increasingly, the focus here is on smart bearings and on connectivity of components.
Automotive OEM products and solutions include chassis components and systems, technologies for clutches and transmissions, as well as engine components and drives for hybrid and electric vehicles. Schaeffler precision products are key to reducing fuel consumption and emissions. At the same time, they extend the service life of engines and transmissions and increase driving comfort and dynamics.
The Automotive Aftermarket division delivers innovative OE quality repair products. With its four brands - LuK, INA, FAG and Ruville - it offers components for engine, transmission and chassis applications. All components are engineered to work together perfectly for a fast and professional replacement. REPXPERT focuses on providing everything a modern workshop needs to succeed, including online and offline training courses, a dedicated technical hotline, a range of special tools and the online knowledge portal.
The website also includes a comprehensive News & Media section that enables editors and journalists to access and download all the latest UK-specific press releases, case studies, bylined articles and associated images, as well as the latest social media information.
