New website is an essential resource centre for fastening and assembly

Finding valuable information on fastening, joining and assembly is easier than ever with the launch of the new Spirol website. The culmination of Spirol’s 74 years of engineering knowledge and experience, the new website presents high quality products that deliver the lowest cost of assembly for customers in a diverse range of market sectors.

Not only does the new website present Spirol’s 30,000 standard engineered fasteners and shims, as well as its standard line of fastener installation equipment, but it also enables you to view or download resources specifically focused on fastening and assembly that you won’t find in any engineering textbook or online library. It really is an essential fastening and assembly resource centre.

The website offers 2D drawings and 3D models of all of Spirol’s standard engineered fasteners, available to download in the format you need or insert directly into your assembly model. Information includes dimensions, tolerances, weight, material and part number, and Spirol’s applications experts are on hand to provide complementary engineering support, provide advice not only the fastener but also on the interface between it and the assembly.

The resources on the website also include a video gallery, ranging from quick ‘how to’ videos to in-depth webinars addressing fastening, joining and assembly. You can also download Spirol’s most up-to-date product catalogues, and discover associated features and benefits along with the product specifications. You can also bookmark design guidelines for common applications.
