On 31st January the UK left the European Union but the future relationship is yet to be negotiated. It remains a possibility that there will be no agreement on trade, so the situation regarding product marking of machinery is still up in the air.

Derek Coulson, a Technical Advisor with Safe Machine Ltd, has previously written about the proposed UKCA Marking of Machinery, which could replace CE Marking to the Machinery Directive after the transition period ending on 31st December. He has now updated his article in light of the current situation and it is well worth reading here.

This month's newsletter is another long one and there is something for everyone. Scroll down to find items of interest to you, whether that’s events, training courses, machinery safety, Industry 4.0, motors, motion control, sensors, AI for automation or something else.
