Norstat Inc introduces new range of industrial enclosures

Family of enclosures said to deliver proven reliability and rugged quality: available in plastic, aluminum and explosion proof versions

Standard enclosures from Norstat Inc are now available in a multitude of colours and materials including Polyester, UV-resistant Polycarbonate and ABS as well as Polystyrene and Noryl. The company confirms that other specific materials (for special applications) are also available on request. Standard aluminum enclosures are manufactured with aluminum die casting or gravity casting and are finished with a Polyester-based powder paint which has been tested for durability with a 1000 hour salt spray test. Also available are Ex rated enclosures for applications in hazardous concentrations of gases, vapors or dust.

Norstat’s enclosures can be manufactured for a variety of applications including film recess, electronics, controller card, plug card and plug sockets. Plastic Boxes carry a protection rating of IP20 to IP65, with aluminium versions from IP43 to IP66 and all explosion proof versions to IP66. The enclosures come in a multitude of sizes to fit most applications and custom designs can be produced to accommodate specific customer needs
