OEM Automatic acquires Motion29

Motion29 was established in 2006 by Steve Fisher and Andrew Wilkinson to serve the industrial and mobile automation markets with safety, indication, connectivity and remote controls systems. As part of this focus, it specialises in developing and supplying engineered solutions to meet customers' specific requirements, with full after sales technical service and support.

Motion29's established product range will remain available to its customers, while expanding the availability of new connectivity, safety and remote control systems to OEM customers. Products include safety edges and mats, connectors, LED lighting, ATEX and explosion-proof lighting, sensors, door magnets and cameras, controls and sensing equipment, and radio remote controls.

Steve Fisher and Andrew Wilkinson, will continue to be actively involved in the business and will be working closely with OEM Automatic throughout the transition period. They will remain familiar points of contact, ensuring the same knowledge, expertise and customer-focused approach that Motion29 customers have come to rely on continues to be available. Their ongoing involvement will help ensure a smooth transition while maintaining the strong relationships and high levels of service customers have come to expect.

The Motion29 range will integrate into OEM's Sensors and Safety team, bringing an expanded range for both OEM and Motion29 customers.

The Sensors and Safety business area partners with trusted, often exclusively represented brands from across Europe, selling high quality products and solutions for industrial automation into the UK.
