Online product selector for infrared temperature sensors

Just four parameters are required in order to identify a suitable sensor for common applications. First, the user specifies the material of the object to be measured from a list that includes more than 40 materials such as glass, ceramics, steel, aluminium, plastics and rubber.

Next, the spot size diameter is selected from between 0 and 400mm, then the distance from the sensor to the target object is selected (0-6750mm). The user then selects the temperature measuring range - which can be anywhere from -50degC to +1800degC. If a product with laser aiming/marking is required for accurate alignment, or if space restrictions call for a more compact sensor with integrated controller, the user can refine the search accordingly.

Based on the four parameters above, the user is then presented with a list of product options. From this list, a sensor can be chosen, the product datasheet can be viewed, and other application details can be specified such as cable lengths and output options. Finally, a quotation can be requested.
